Position: Our Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic building known as "Palazzo Bruca," situated in the historic center of Catania at Via Vittorio Emanuele II 201, just 200 meters from Piazza Duomo. Built in the 18th century, it once belonged to the Scammacca della Bruca princes and features a magnificent courtyard with a neoclassical fountain depicting Neptune. An elegant loggia supported by Ionic columns provides access to the internal area, which today serves as a secure parking space available upon request for an additional fee. Thanks to its strategic location, our B&B is immersed in the heart of Sicilian city life and nightlife, just a short walk from the Cathedral of St. Agatha and the bustling fish market “A piscaria.” With quick access to the city’s main services, private indoor parking, and proximity to offices and businesses, it is the perfect destination for those frequently visiting Catania and the surrounding province for work or leisure. Easily reachable from the airport in just 15 minutes and only 5 minutes by car from the central train station, port, and bus terminal, our beautifully furnished B&B offers rooms with private bathrooms (either en-suite or external) as well as numerous independent vacation homes and suites featuring whirlpool tubs. Rooms: Our three-star hotel offers rooms with either an internal courtyard view or a city view, each equipped with a balcony, air conditioning, TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a minibar. The Mazzini Room is a family quadruple room consisting of two double rooms, each featuring a private entrance and not connecting to each other. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower and bidet: one is internal and one is external for exclusive use. This room is suitable for accommodating families or groups of friends, with a maximum occupancy of 4 people. The rooms offer the following amenities: flat-screen TV, air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, refrigerator, desk, and a spacious balcony with a city view. The rooms connect through a large angled balcony, from which you can admire Piazza Mazzini, Piazza S. Francesco d’Assisi, featuring the magnificent church of the same name, adorned with the monument of Cardinal Dusmet, as well as the dome of the majestic Collegiate Church dating back to the second half of the 19th century. Restaurant: Palazzo Bruca offers its guests gastronomic experiences featuring traditional Catanese cuisine at discounted rates, thanks to partnerships with some of the finest restaurants in the historic center. Enjoy a typical Sicilian breakfast. Breakfast will be served at the café just a few steps from the reception, with a personalized voucher available at an additional cost. Outside: Lobby: More Informations: Check in from 1.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m., it is necessary to contact the property at +39.338.7666828, immediately after booking to confirm the check in time because the reception will not always be covered by the staff on duty and guests during non-attendance hours will be provided with a guided procedure for self check-in. Staff will not be responsible for bookings that are not contacted in advance and do not find staff on site to accommodate them. For check-ins from 20.00 to 22.00 there is an additional charge of € 10.00. For check-ins from 10 p.m. to midnight, there is an additional charge of €20.00. After midnight the reception will be closed. In the case of arrival after midnight, if agreed in advance with the hotel, late check-ins will incur an additional charge of € 30.00. Any other additional payments (such as the tourist tax and parking) will also be in cash. *Transfer Service* We can arrange shuttle service to and from the airport. The airport is connected to the city center by the shuttle bus *ALIBUS*. The nearest stop to our B&B is *ARCHI*, located just after the Archi della Marina. *Etna Tours* We offer various tours of the highest volcano in Europe, conducted by expert guides, lasting either half a day or a full day, starting from €45 per person. *Private Parking* Private parking is available upon request at a daily rate of €10 (equivalent to the daily street parking fee). The parking area is accessible from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Guests wishing to move their vehicle after closing hours will be provided with a remote control for a €20 deposit, which will be refunded at check-out. The deposit will be retained in the event of loss or failure to return the remote. This service is subject to availability upon arrival. Remarks: Rates do not include any local city tax and resort fee that must be paid by the final customer on-site directly to the hotel.
